Exclamation oil pressure problem?? Help!!

i got an 87 n/a base and starting last week my oil pressure has been weak,
there is enogh oil but its not producing enough pressure.
there are times when it runs ok and then there are times when its pressure is in the exactly in the middle of 30-60 or lower. i can also hear a wierd noise when i accelerate. its kind of a vacuum noise or suction,

can someone help me diagnose problem? its my daily, is it bad to drive it like this???

You need to test the oil pressure with a good mechanical gauge to see whether you have a problem with your oil pressure or with your gauge in the car. The dash gauge is prone to giving erratic readings. I would not trust it.

Yes, just one gauge can be messed up. The stock gauge isn't particularly accurate after 20 years.
