oil pressure problem

hi

i just got my rebuild done. it has 5 miles on it. runs great, bu tlast time i started it up the oil pressure went up to 60, stayed there for a few seconds, then fell till i got scared and shut it off at like 10 psi. did that 4 or 5 times, then i swapped sending units. did the same thing so i pulled the oil pellet thing (i have the atkins replacement) it looked ok so i put it back in and now no oil pressure at all. wtf? if the oil pump was bad it wouldnt have jumped to 60 psi those couple times right? if anybody has any ideas please let me know.

thanks,
_Pat
