Oil pressure meter not working after..

Oil Pressure meter stopped working after I installed a new clutch. I figured it might be that I forgot to plug it back in, but here's the question:

Does this make your car run a little richer than it should? My car is N/A btw, so the increment in performance can easily be felt.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Your oil pressure gauge just tells you how much oil pressure you have, assuming it's correct.

That's what I thought, but I figured that I should get a confirmation from someone with more knowledge in this engine.

Plug it back in. It makes me cringe just thinking about seeing 0 oil pressure....even if I know I have good oil pressure.

i have had the same problem with my rx. just the other day. ok i bought this car from some old guy saying that it runs good and was kept in good conditions but 2000 miles later i found myself tearing down my car fixing all the leaks and stupid mistakes that some mechanic thoughts was right. I have a few questions if someone would be kind enough to assist me. My car ides extremly high compared to the factory standards. i know its a turbo but im ideling at 1500 instead of 800. what do you think is the problem? And my second question is that there is a buzzer used in the car as well all know to let you know that your red lining at 7000 wel my car is doing this at 6000 when it used to do it normally. Ive checked the manuals and project books but no dice, can someone please help me out?
