Oil pressure gauge no worky

Ok just a quick one. My factory oil pressure gauge isn't working anymore. Just up and decided to stop working today. Had this happen on my GTU and I drove it all the way to denver with it at 0. Anyways is there a way to tell if its just the gauge? The car runs fine but I want to double check before I leave later.

Check to see if you accidentally knocked the wire off the oil pressure sending unit thing (like I did). It's right underneath the oil filter.

You might also have a bad sending unit. Try knocking it with a screwdriver or wrench; if it starts working again, it's the sender.
