oil pressure gage not working

oil pressure gage not working

i bought my 7 with the oil pressure gage not working. i'll turn on my car and ride and the gage while still be on 0 how can i fix it?

i just did a swap..and mine doesnt work either...is the sensor on the oil pan? my oil pan on my new engine only has one plug...the old one had 2...im guessing thats it..sorry, dont mean to steal your thread.

the plug is under the oil filter. Just has a little slide on plug. If it's plugged in and still doesn't work, just spend the 20ish bucks and get an aftermarket guage. Before you pull your sender unit tho, make sure you have the correct adapter. The 1/8 NPT won't go in that hole, and the SunPro guages from Advance Auto parts, do not have an adapter in them that will work.

get a real stand alone sensor. i would trust the stock one imho.

none of the stock gauges work...we need to get someone to sell a full gauge kit that will fit where all the stock ones go...

Is the gauge supposed to be up all the time or does it move only when your on the gas?
