oil pressure gage don't work after tranny

oil pressure gage don't work after tranny

hey all,

i recently put in a new clutch and tranny, and for wutever reason the oil pressure gauge stopped working? it worked when i pulled it up onto the ramps, and after everything was said and done the gauge doesn't work...

i know there is oil in it, i did the oil change at the same time.....

am i missing something?

Assuming that the sending unit is connected and the wiring is in good shape- did you reinstall the condensor on the slave cylinder?

*...it's a small black box with a single wire coming from it and has a metal mounting tab...*

the wiring is all good no problems there, i'll check that, and get back to you, but i don't even remember pulling any wires out from around there?

its really really easy to bump the wire off while you're in there tightening bolts.

i think anyone who's worked on these cars for any lenght of time has done it...

I just did my clutch/flywheel and shortly after driving, my oil pressure gauge stopped working. Turns out my connector came loose. You should check for that, and have someone with really skinny fingers.

This is the condensor. Mine broke and I have been running without it for about a month now. I can't find a replacement and every mazda stealership I go to looks at me like I have two heads. Anyone have a part number?

ok, i never remember even seeing that, but i'll got take the cylinder off...and there are like 2 extra wires around the oil filter.....but, i got the car like 5th hand, and i don't even know wuts done to the car...................

something about a mildly ported intake side?????

guess it has a small street port.....

wtf does that condenser wire doo!?!!? shiet i left mine off cos i was too lazy to put it back on.. where does it attach to, i completely forgot about it.
