oil pressure drops
well I just moved to new york again, and it seems now, that after my car gets warm. the oil gauge drops and stays at 0. it makes me very paranoid and i pull over to check the oil level, and the **** on always full. i did change the oil wieght to 5/30 from 10/30. can this be the culprit???

the stock oil pressure gauge is known to be unreliable.
either buy and permanently wire in an aftermarket, or else temporarily hook one up and rev the engine a couple times and watch it
My stock gauge will say 25 psi at idle when I am really getting 5-10psi and at 55 mph I am holding 50 psi on my stock gauge, yet 60 psi on the aftermarket.
Your stock gauge is probably failing.

Let's assume first that you've checked and cleaned the wiring/ terminal at the sender...Tap on the sender while the car's running- if the gauge moves back towards normal range, the sender is going kaput. Happens to the best of us
