Oil Pressure Again.....

Ok guys- I am having issues with oil pressure in my engine.... When I take the engine up- It will generate close to 110PSI of oil pressure. However about 5500 oil pressure begins to drop however the engine is still increasing in RPM...any ideas? Oil pressure will not drop below 60PSI in 5 gear. Oil pressure is 15-20 at idle...

is this an after market gauge? if not check those numbers again with an after market gauge...if it is then i have no idea..i would say o ring failure because it decreases psi as you climb in rpm band..however why is your oil pressure so high up? ..like i said i'm not sure so it's best you wait for someone more knowledgeable to reply...you can still double check your numbers with a mechanical/analog gauge. =)

yeah i need to get an aftermarket gauge....

my s4 vert is scaring me now that i look at my oil pressure gauge all the time

i start my car sometimes itll stay inbetween the 30-60 and keep the same margin of going up and down as if it were to start at 30 at idle

when i just now started it, it was at the 60 .....and rose when i reved to around 5.5k rpms
im assuming mines is finally broken?

Your guage or sender are broken. My vert's guage isn't that accurate either and an aftermarket guage allows me to sleep a little easier at night and not worry about it.
