oil preshure 110 lbs wtf

oil preshure 110 lbs wtf

just started the rebuild and my oilpressure gauage is maxed out
what in the system would cause the oil pressure to be so high

Have you considered that it might be the gauge? Did you attach the capacitor ground on the slave? Is the connector on the oil pressure sender? It sounds like it's grounded. Does it read 110psi when the car is off and the ignition in ON?

the pressure has been fluctuating between 0 and 110 psi.
if the gauage is reading some what acuratly, is it possable to have your oil pressure just rise and fall somthing with the regulator
