oil pan trick.. what is it?

oil pan trick.. what is it?

i was talking to someone about getting some work done to my car. like new headers and such. and he said i should do the oil pan trick to get a better compression on my car...

i am searched around everywhere. and i can find any info on this subject. if you guys could fill me in, or give me some links to how this trick works, that would be wick.

tis what i figured. been doing alot of reading/searching the last few days, and have come up with nothing.

i think buddy must of been on some bad crack :o or had been confused

or maybe it some crazy secret!

That's where you connect a BlackHawk series II compressor to the oil pan. You connect to where the old oil temp switch was for the Cold Start System. The manual shows how to block off all passages that might leak. The compressor is rated at 6086scfm. You have to use it sparingly though or the pan gasket will blow on you. I saw one on SpeedVision last week. Or I was on speed one. Things are a little foggy in my mind since last week. I think I saw one on E-Bay for $9.99 plus tax yesterday. Hurry! He only had two left.

HAILERS, you are again spouting fountains of misinformation. Everyone knows that you can't do that trick unless you rotate your halogen fluid so that it bathes the muffer bearings. You'll overload the sunroof. Jees.

hmm. so there is some sorta trick out there. but its a very if'y mod?

i am going to call this place back on monday. see if i can get more detail.. the guy i was talking to was very friendly and seem to know his stuff. maybe i can get a cost too.
