Question Oil Pan Baffle

As I'm building more grip into the car the hard or long left turns autocrossing always bring the low oil buzzer on even though I'm overfilling. So I'm thinking about the baffle plate that Mazdatrix offers. Anybody know if it's possible to remove the pan without raising the engine? Not a job I want to get stuck in the middle of. Thanks.

FSM says you only need to raise the engine about 2inches to get it out. Then when re-assembling have the pan and engine mount connected and put them in at the same time. I'd say use a 2x4 somehow to support engine.

Yep, it's possible to install without removing the engine, but it's highly recommended to get some way to lift the engine a few inches.&nbsp That front crossmember comes awfully close!
