oil metering system
I am putting a motor from an '87 rx7 into a '74 REPU. It will be carbuerrated. I will still need the original lower intake manifold. What are the 2 injector looking things that are connected to vaccuum and another small clear plastic line? There are also 2 that go directly into the motor. Are these the oil metering injectors? are they for the sub-zero starting system? If not part of the oil injection system, How does the oil injection work? Is it all internal to the motor? thanks,
Tom

Yes, the four injector looking things are oil injectors. They should have , each a line going to the front, right, lower side of the engine to a mechanical oil pump. On top of the oil injectors is a vaccum line. You can tee them all into a common source of vaccum. Help me out. What is a '74 REPU? On the oil injector sys, yes its all mechanical. No worry. '74REPU? I don't get around much. Curious.

Thanks HAILERS. Now I need to figure out something for the oil lines to the injectors. I can't wait to get that little truck running. I wonder if I will get as many people asking me about the truck as they do the RX7, I can just imagine all the people asking what that Rotary Power sticker on the tailgate means. It has really nice lines for a truck of that era, The fender flares really set it apart from all the others.
