oil metering pump
I had another question. My car has been sitting for ever. What is a good way of testing the oil metering pump and the other main engine components?

You run the engine with a hose running from the two *housing* discharge ports on the oil metering pump, pull all the way up on the pumps rod, and with the engine at 2000 rom for five minutes, you should have collected 4.2 to 5.6 cc of oil for non turbo. Its all there in the free on line manual under oil system. 5.2 to 6.6 cc on a turbo.
