oil lubricators

oil lubricators

oil lubricators are supposed to hold vacuum along with the vac spider correct? would them not holding vac cause my car to bog/die/idle like **** because there is unregulated air to motor?

There's no checkvalve in the spider at all.

Air Flow thu the oil injectors is one way.....towards the source of the vacuum which is the rotors.

Air should not flow in the other direction.

The Air supplied to the spider/oil injectors is already metered air.

Hard as a rock fuel injector lower grommets can and will cause air leaks and irregular idling.

Series four fuel injector lower grommets used on series five injectors will cause air leaks. Something like that.

Vacuum/air lines going to the nipples on the front and rear of the throttle body, if connected up wrong can cause a irregular idle.

If i remember correctly i was able to blow in lubricators and air went through both ways, i will have to check again. putting stock injectors with new grommets and such in this week to see if i can't see if that's why it acts like it does.

Bad AFM also be a culprit? it's one of the last few things i have not checked/swapped out from my parts car to see if there is change.

so after reverting back to stock injectors and AFM it still sputters up high and hits 9psi under 4k rpm. is that normal?

to the oil lubricators.. tonight when i was changing stuff out i tested the vac spider and lubricators and i can blow/suck air through the main vac line that goes to spider and out.

other symptoms are idle isn't consistant and during deceleration not in gear if i don't keep giving it gas it will bog down and die if i don't catch it
