Oil...let's hear it for the Oil
Oil...let's hear it for the Oil
Need to know which is better for my FC:
Synthetic or Non-Synthetic? I've heard that non-synthetic is better but not sure why (I'm pretty dumb when it comes to car stuff, so that's why you guys are here).
Also, to keep my engine running in top condition what type of additives should I use? I already use 91 octane but is there anything else I could use to keep it running better? Also for the oil, anything that will make my car run smoother? It's a little rough right now
~Random~

If your car is running rough, the oil is the last place I would try to look for the answer...
With that said, newer synthetics are fine to run in the engine IF you're premixing (adding 2-cycle oil to the gas like a lawnmower). Synthetics don't burn off the way mineral oil does, so you're left with nasty deposits if the OMP system is still functional... This is a characteristic that is unique to rotary engines... Castrol GTX 20/50 is fine if you're using the OMP still... If you really wanna go all out, you can get Royal Purple, Idemitsu, Rotella, or any other oils that are optimized for rotary applications, but that's if money isn't an object... Oh and don't use "high mileage" oil...
Searching helps...
