+1, hehe.

Try checking the oil cooler lines, the dowel pins (under the Mazda symbol?), etc. Find the leak, replace affected parts or remove and bring to a shop for a repair. If it's coming from the engine, there's not much you can do short of a rebuild.

Oil leaks are not normal. They are leaks that you gotta fix. The oil metering pump does inject oil into the engine to lubricate the inside, but only 1 quart every 1000 to 3000 miles.

OK.

My guess is that oil is coming out of the engine where it's not supposed to.

Seriously, how is anyone supposed to help you if you provide absolutely no information?

The best way to find an oil leak is to completely degrease the engine, then start it up and look around for the oil seeping out. Common areas are the metering oil pump and lines, around the oil cooler hoses and at the oil filter pedestal.

If it's a very small leak then a dye kit will help a great deal in tracking it down.
