Oil leak spray in engine

Hi,
MY 91 VERT has an oil leak that is spraying the radiator cooling fan. my belts are also very oily. any idea what seal just went bad and how hard it would be to repalce it/

I did remove the front cover about six years ago but have long since forgotten how things look down there and am currently very clueless. i hope i don't have to remove another front cover, it was a pain in the arsse removing the oil pain and other associated parts. front cover was pulled becuase this dumbarse dropped the torrington bearings on the eshaft when installed a thermo pellet replacement...darn 2x4 slipped off the clutch.

so what seal could be causing the leak/

thanks

sorry about caps and punctuation, 1/2 of my keys on my laptop don't work anymore and that includes the question mark.

Chances are it is your oil cooler lines and not a seal.

IF not the oil lines...................get a inspection mirror out and flashlight. Look into the front pulley where the 19mm bolt is that holds your front pulley on. IF there is oil puddled around the 19mm bolt...............you've got a loose front pulley bolt which needs to be tightened to fatory specs and locktite applied to the threads prior to reinsalling that bolt.

Probably the oil lines though. Just a second thing to look at.

It was a leaky eshaft bolt.

One should praise, not mock, persistence and dedication.
