Hey Guys and Gals,

I need some help.... About 3 hours ago I noticed that I have a flipping oil leak in this Jspec engine I just swapped in. the leak seems to be coming from the front of the motor. I was thinking it was the oil metering pump....... well I need to know anyone can help me. If it is the oil metering pump is there a way to check it and if so how do I. another question is "is there a seal that can leak from the OMP" the leak is kinda slow I would really apperciate some info from all the experienced rotary guys. thanks,

it could be from the turbo oil return line too. clean everything off with a cleaner. and let it run and try and find out exactly were it's comming from.

 

There is an O-ring between the OMP and the front cover.I think it is special it is an oval shape.Mazdatrix has them.

is there a way to check to see if it is the omp

Is it common for the lines to leak? and don't think my oil pressure is up to par either. its like 50 psi at 3k rpm is there anything you might think it could be.
