Oil Leak

I noticed that I had quite a bit of oil coming from under my car when I put it up on the lift. So I did some research on spots it could be coming from. I found out that its coming from one of my brass oil lines hooked to the oil metering pump. So I was in the process of getting it off, and replacing it. But honestly I have no clue how to get to it, more so I don't understand how its connected into my motor.
I see how it's connected to the oil metering pump, but is it connected the same way to the engine block?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Shaina

The lines run from the OMP to the Oil injectors (2) that are mounted on the passenger side of each housing. It's a bitch to get to these guys, you'd have to remove the upper intake for sure, and depending on what you have modded or deleted you may have to remove a couple of water lines.

Yeah I figured I would have to remove my air intake, was gonna try that.
But is the line bolted in? How does it connect?

IIRC, they connect just like they do to the OMP, a banjo fitting.

They're not to hard to get to with the upper intake manifold off. But I don't see any way of getting to them with it on. A lot of people just plug them up and throw a block off plate over the OMP flange on the front cover. YOU HAVE TO USE PREMIX IF YOU DO THAT THOUGH!

Is that something that would be recommended?
Why would premixing help?

are you sure it is the lines???

It is not uncommon to have the O ring on the back of the MOP leak and make it look like oil is coming from that area

I'm pretty positive.
The line is wiggling.
And the leak looks to be coming from where it connects to the OMP and where it connects to my motor.

Okay, from the way your explaining it, it sounds like the leak is coming from the OMP area which is on the front cover and pretty easily accesible. The OMP is on the front cover, to the left of the main engine pulley. The oil injectors are at the top of the engine under the upper intake manifold and I don't believe you'd be able to see them without taking off the manifold. Is it possibly you'd be able to post up a pic?

I'll try to take a picture of it tommorrow.
But I know that it is leaking towards the front of the motor where the line connects to the OMP.
But it also looks like there is another spot leaking, which is under my intake manifold.
