oil in intercooler??????????

Help? I'm not sure but I think his turbo is blown.

One day we decided to take his intercooler off to install his BOV. Inside the intercooler we noticed a lot of oil inside. Does anyone have an idea what it could be?

I would check the crack case ventilation system (I know, we don't have a crank case but Mazda calls it that). Make sure that you have the vac line connected to the oil fill neck. Also, there is a vac hose that went into the TID. There is also a purge valve that is round. It has a vac hose in the top and one under it. If they are hooked up than maybe somebody can help you with how to test the system.

If you drive your car hard (Hard turns) that may be a byproduct of that. Believe you may want to find something called a catch can.

I cleaned my Intercooler out with simple green and degreaser.

a little oil is normal. If you turn the intercooler on its side and oil pours out the end, the turbo oil seals are wearing out.
Also, turbo's seal dynamically, the greater the pressure inside the turbo, the better it seals. If you let the car turbo time for 5 minutes everytime you shut it off you will have more than normal oil pass through.
