Oil Inside intake runners ???
Oil Inside intake runners ???
This is for Nitro Nicks car that I took apart to port the runners. Apon inspection we noticed that the lower intake manifold had lots of oil in the rear rotor engine and runners. Also the TB seems to have filled up with oil as well. And when you take the vacume hose off that Black PCV looking thing it also has oil in it. We dont know if this is the cause of low compression or cloged PCV bring oil inside the intake with vacume
By the way the car smokes greyish smoke only when you first start it after the first 2 minutes then completly stops. Whats up?

Broken oil injector, one or more. Ah, I guess it could be the pvc instead. EDIT: Yeah, the pvc, not the oil injectors. Where is this black thing you talk of?????
One thing you might check. The Purge control valve. The top hose on the pcv should have the vacuum going to it. The other small hose on it should not. If you look at the back of the throttle body, there are two small vac hose one above the other. The lower of these two pulls vacuum and routes to the top of the pvc. The other does not pull vac and goes to the bottom of the pvc.
Also check to see if the diaphram in the pvc will hold a vacuum. Suck on the top of the pvc.
Thats the only item I see that can give you oil in front of the throttle body.

OOOOps. Sorry. I only have a 87 models. They only have two vac hose on the back of the throttle body, not two. But anyway, just idle the car, then take the vac line off the TOP of the pvc. That hose should suck. The other should not suck. It routes to the front of the throttle plates, so no real suction.
Hmmmmm/ The pvc on a 87 is located on the left side of the engine. Black toadstoole out fit w/one vac line on the top and one small one on the bottom along with one larger one.
There are three nipples on the front of the throttle body. One larger than the others. It goes to the black plastic spider that rests below the upper intake. Has four vac lines that go to the top of the oil injectors.

Your talking about the LOWER intake manifold. Hmmm. You have two oil injectors right there injecting oil into the lower manifold(at least on a series four you do). Oil should come out there. Wonder why the front one is dry????? Might check the oil injectors. Take the top vac hose off the top of the injectors, and blow into the top of the injector. Air should pass. Now suck. No air allowed upon sucking.
I do have 2 oil injector on the lower manifold but htier fine because I properly put them in. The upper ones are fine because I saw them and never touched them as I was putting everything back on...
