Exclamation Oil injector leaking?

Okay lemme give ya some backround info, my car has been smoking like crazy on sharp turn and only somtime durring straight accel, from what i understand the smoke is not coming from the exhuast, rather oil is hitting the downpipe/turbo and burning.

So my first though was that one of my oil lines had broke to i ripped of the UIM and to my suprise they where all in top condition, so I though maybe the copper washers around the oil injectors where causing the leak so i replace them with some copper washers I found at autozone.

Well long story short the washers did not solve my problem, and oil is still slowly pooling on the LIM more so when under hard accel, and my theroy is the oil is dripping of the back on the uim hitting the downpipe/turbo.

So is it possible for an oil injector to leak mine? are kinda old and one of the nipples on a oil injector felt loose, i could turn it with plyers.

any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

O k dude if you have a TII then I would almost guarantee that it is the turbo oil inlet line. There is a gasket underneath the two bolt flange that bolts to the top of the turbo behind the compressor. you need to change it and put some sealant. I had the same problem and the bitch would smoke mad crazy and get oil everywhere.

yes I am aware of that oil line but i am pretty sure its not leaking, did your leak oil on the pavement or just smoke while driving?

I'll go double check that line but I'm pretty sure the smoke it coming from oil pooling on the lim

Well If it's pooling on you LIM then it can only be a few things. Oil doesn;t go through much up there other than the OMP and Injectors.

Maybe zip tie the ends of the Oil injectos and hope that fixes the prob.

Also Use a degreaser to clean everything off.

Put everyuthing together and run the car.
Then check for dirty spots to help you find the source.

I did this on the drivers side to find a leak under the oil pedastle.

zip tie the vaccum lines to the oil injectors?? if so this has already been done, it is relitively clean under my uim but its hard to see what is leaking with it on.....so tommorrow i'll prolly swap out the oil injectors and hope it fixes it....
