Thumbs down oil gauge problem...easy fix?

GAH! so mad! the oil pressure gauge is an Autometer mechanical, so i uses those hardish nylon hosing. well they dont like to uncurl. when i installed it today, it kinked bad. and when i noticed and tried to unkink, it kept that indent real bad. so do you think it will wotk out? or is there anyway i can cut that piece out and somehow reconnect? man, that sucked. or am i stuck having to get a replacement line?

Any ideas?

I think you might find some kind of coupler, and just cut out the kinked section and splice the line together. But, depending on what you find, it may only be a temporary fix.
