oil gauge not working?

when i bought my car the oil gauge would flucuate with speed well now it just stays at the bottom at zero. is it broke or disconected!?

don't know but you can look at the bottom of your oil pan and see if your oil pressure sending gage is disconnected.

An unplugged oil pressure sender is the most likely cause, but it's not in the oil pan...

that's a funky picture, all the oil pressure senders i have seen on 13Bs have had a sideways spade connector on them.

It's actually a pic from the FD FSM but the locations are all identical for the FC.

sigh ok the wire you're looking for is a red/yellow wire that runs parralel from the gauge to the sensor and capacitor/condensor. If you want to know more info, search condensor in the forum, I know for fact that subject has been rehashed to hell and back.
