OIL in the gas?

Question OIL in the gas?

Ive heard of people putting oil in the gas to help lube the rotors but i dont know if its true, what kind of oil,and how much . Does anyone do this and would it be a good idea for me to?

yeah its called Marvels Mystery oil. You put about 4oz to 10 gallons of gas. you can use it on any car. Also most people say it stops the little smoke that comes out in the morning starts. You can buy it at any autoparts store for about 3 to 4 dollars

Alright thanx for the info, they way i heard it made it sound like a 2cycle mix or something, i know what your talking about ive seen the stuff.

It's actually called "pre-mix".&nbsp Those with intact OMP systems are recommended to run 400:1 ratios.&nbsp Those without OMP systems can run a little bit more between 100:1 to 150:1 ratios.&nbsp Pre-mix is added to gasoline when filling every tank.

ALL rotaries from Mazda have them.&nbsp I'd bet you still have yours.

I work at a repair shop in N.Syracuse call me Mon. thur Fri. 8am to 5:30pm 315-458-8381. I can help you with you RX. I am currently replacing my engine which was modded to a great level ( Singer of a band I manage cooked the engine) ( now he owns a gsl-se) and rebluiding the transmission.

OMP is located in the front of the engine. Front cover to be exact. If you have an 87 you have a mechanical OMP.
