Oil flush products?

Would using an oil flush product like the one AMSOil makes be good for helping to clean the OMP and Oil Cooler? Would it be bad for the oil seals? I'm interested in knowing this or if anyone else has done this to their FC.

I think that clean oil would be the best thing to clean the MOP with...

as far as the oil cooler is concerned I think it would do a good job

affecting the seals? I dunno - which is why I wouldn't recommend doing it to the MOP or associated components - the oil cooler being just and aluminum box (basically) will not be affected by any chemicals in that stuff....

I've used engine flushes many times. I always get more stuff out of the engine than when I don't use it.

It won't do much for the OMP system because when using it you're only supposed to idle the engine, and there's very little flow through the system at idle.

i know in regular motors the best thing I have found is to use diesel for about 45 seconds running then drain and watch all the sludge the diesel still acts as a lubricant but I dont know as far as an fc goes

Fricken waste of time...
Good, quality engine oils already have a built-in "detergent" package that cleans everything inside.
If you want to keep everything clean, just shorten the oil change intervals.
