Oil filter stud, 13B

I need to replace one of the studs on my oil filter bracket, and was wondering what size diameter, and length I would need. I called mazda and they can special order them, but do not know the size. Hoping for a standard size I could pick up at a hardware store ?

There is a thread pitch and size article in the Archives.

But to answer your question, it's M6 x 1.0

hmmm, ok, I'll do that as long as the o-rings are in good condition. I don't want to go from one leak to another

Not sure if the above post is a joke or not....

It goes without saying that you will buy new o-rings.
