TX Oil filter

I realize that this isn't very technical, but what kind of oil filter and oil should I use when I do my oil change? I need to do it quick. Thanks in advance.

What I was told when I first got my car:
Filter: Mazda, WIX, Napa Gold.
Oil: 20W-50 [Unless you live someplace cold] I try to buy Castrol GTX when I can afford it or Chevron when I can't.

*Also, Walmart usually has GTX cheap in the big jugs.

I use a K&N HP1004 Filter and Castrated GTX 10w30

No OMP. Castrated 2-stroke in the fuel.

from makes garbage not filters. do not use fram.

oem filter is excellent, list is $9.20

oil is up to you, the engine doesn't care too much as long as there is something wet and slippery in there
