Question Oil coolers, 1st gen vs. 2nd gen

First of all I wanted to say hi... I'm new to the whole forum thing, but it seems fairly self explanitory. I'm curious if anyone either knows or can tell me the differences in dimensions between a first gen. oil cooler vs. a second gen's oil cooler. Thanks.

Well, all second gen coolers are front mounted. They're good coolers.

The first gens started with a decent front mounted, then as a cost-cutting measure used a block mounted cooler on the mid-models. Those sucked. When Mazda realized how bad they were, they went back to the front-mounted units.
