Oil cooler out of shape

I picked up a replacement oil cooler from Crazy Ray's in MD today. Now I just need to order some new lines because one of mine is damaged.

My current oil cooler has been like this since I got the car last April. I don't know what exactly happened to it. I haven't actually had any problems with it yet, except for its appearance.

Since I put a Flex-a-lite blackmagic fan in there my engine temp has never gone past half-way on the temp gauge. Even before that it only started to climb past half-way once, when my old electric fan died while stuck in traffic. In that case I got the car on the shoulder and off before it got too hot.

As far as I can tell the old cooler has been working fine, despite it's obvious damage.
