Problems after clutch install - wont go into gear!

I dropped the trans last night and replaced the clutch, tightened everything up, it was a new dynapak clutch. I put the car all back together and now it wont even go into gear while running. I bled the clutch system and the clutch looked right, is it possible i messed up the to bearing when i dropped the trans down?

any possible causes before i go take the trans out again?

I have an S4 TII

arrgg!

thanks

did you mess the pilot bearing up and is the clutch fork moving when you depress the clutch? There is no difference is series 4 and 5 clutchs.

start simple... jack up the car and have someone step on the clutch pedal. see if the slave cylinder is extending the piston, etc. etc.

I think this has happened to people that put the clutch plate in backwards.

Yes it got bled, jesus i hope i didnt put the disk in backwards but it could be a possibility. I was really tired (about 2am trying to get the car done for work today @ 10)

I guess i will pull the car back apart and hopefully the disk is just in wrong. any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

thanks

you say it's noisier? my friend's pilot bearing went(was really noisy before it went) I think the problem was not greasing it properly before reinstalling. the bearings came out and ruined the flywheel and such....he also couldn't put it into gear.
