Oil Cooler line explosion

Okay, my ported motor tried to lock up on me... but I got that fixed... But, with the mods that I have done to the car its about time to upgrade the oil pressure regulator. I know my oil pressure is higher than stock, which this isn't the first car that's undergone this increase... But, now I can't get my oil cooler lines to work good. The fitting on the engine closest to the firewall leaks no matter what I do. It has washers (which I forgot originally..), yet it still refuses to work. I think there's a pinhole in the side of the fitting where it goes over the banjo bolt. Any thoughts?

Also, i have no intention of working on my car while it snows outside LoL.. i just wanna get some ideas of what to do...

get new copper crush washers and torque it down. that's all you can do besides replacing the banjo bolt.

or the entire oil cooler line, and the oem part is expensive. trust me, i know. i replaced both of mine once with oem parts and both of them were about $325.

If you replace the oil cooler lines get the SS braided type with AN fittings, form Racing Beat or Mazdatrix (there are quite a few other places that you can buy them as well).

Why oh why on Earth would you buy OEM ones for that price when you can get SS braided lines for cheaper which are better?

No kidding. I hate how the dealership prices try to rape us so bad. We need to get every person in the world to refuse to buy parts from the dealer, maybe then the prices would go down

Heh...you wanna see an oil line explsion? Some guy asked me to check out his car and as I was waiting for him he blew an oil cooler line . You should have seen that engine bay. Fawwwwck ! At 60 psi, oil will spray everywhere.
You guys going to the dealer to buy OEM hoses get what you deserve.
We all know it's not a special hose of any kind, just the ends.
Go to a hydraulic shop and have them re-fit them. The hose they use will last probably the life of the car. You'd be surprised what they charge. Just go.

i had a hose shop rebuild my feed line for about $65, the new high pressure line is a bit sturdier than the original and it is rated for about 3 times the pressure as the original lines.
