Oil Cooler Drain Leak

Replaced all the crush washers for the oil cooler lines but there isn't one for the oil drain in the cooler and it is leaking a bit. Was wondering if it is possible to put own washer there without disturbing the pressure valve spring inside.

Looks like there is supposed to be a copper washer on it (labeled 14-8231):

hmm, it's clearly there. What section of the manual is this diagram in? Been looking through cooling and lubrication sections and cannot find one like this.

If you.over tightened that banjo bolt you could crack the bung it goes into and oil will leak out.

Happened to me and had to replace the entire cooler.

Used a torque wrench for all fittings, should be ok, leaked a little bit because of no crush washer.

They just crack easy. I thought mine was leaking due to having a used crush washer , replaced and the leak still didn't go away, tightened it more and the leak got worse.

Be careful
