oil coming out of the exhaust?

Hey ladies and gents..... i got some oil coming out of my exhaust what do you think it is im think i have set up my Oil metering pump wrong ...... maybe i didnt hook the lines up right? (wrong order?) or maybe i dont have my mechanical oil pump link hooked up right .... i have a mutant 89 rx-7 gxl with 87 engine and 89 intake.. i just put the intake on. i broke two oil lines in the process i replaced them and put then where they belonged. the haynes was a lil confusing cuz it seemed the oil lines didnt wan to go where the haynes said put them. bottom line i dont want to fess up to my engine being blown .. it can idle just gives meh no power i figure it ws from getting too much fuel so i replaced the butchered harness. and my oil pump wasnt grounded. argh i am really trying to avoid a new engine cuz i dont get paid much (begins to play violin). so saving for one would take forever. but anyways. for a while i just thought the car was actin dumb from too much fuel...

hey

I had some oil come out that was actually gas. I think it was just running really rich because the leading plugs were disconected. Thier was also a leaking injector so sometimes it would flud when starting up and spit a llittle bit of fuel out like a spray bottle. It was brownish color.

I also had to replace the oil line. It was the longest one and was a totally different shape than origanal. It still fit thou. I think mazda changed the shape to fit better.

sounds like something is definatly screwed. Im not an expert by any means but in conventional engines thats a rebuild.

I see you wanted a third opinion. I understand that. I imagine it really sucks even thinking about the possibility of your engine being blown. I wish you luck with it.

how is your OMP hooked up?? are you using a 86-88 mech one? or a 89-91 elect? which year ecu?

if using the mech one how is it opening while using the 89+ intake? and how is the car running since it should be in limp mode?

or did you put the 89 front cover and OMP onto the 87 engine?

more details

my intake is an 89 intake but i changed out a few of the washers and miscellaneous things to make it fit the mechanical link... i still have the elctronic pump connected to the harness. i also have a ground running to it. i saw my temperature was running high today. then i looked one of my new oil injector lines was still fresh and clear no oil in it some at the bottle but that car has run long enough for that oil to circulate. I stripped the bolt on the OMP for that line. it was the tightest bolt to remove. now i know why i think cuz that bolt wasnt getting oiled alot like the others. i switched the stripped bolt to a better location on the pump so i could get to the stripped bolt with a socket(which has better grab). the line goes to the front oil injector on the intake side. I guess its been doing this all along cuz for some reason which i could never figure out why the front rotor always coated the spark plugs in ugly soot but the rear rotor was fine. thats the difference, one rotor may have been getting less oil (the front)
