Oil changes?

Hey
How often do you guys change your oil?
How often do you check the levels?
Is it safe to wait until the oil light comes on to top up or change oil?
Just curious...
Thanks for stoppin by

3,000 miles, or once a year in my case.
As the RX7 pumps engine oil into the combustion chamber for lubrication, I'd check it quite often to obtain a feel for amount used. Keep it full and no, don't wait for the low oil level light to be your guide.

most say check your oil level when you get gas. i have had a few times where its right below the L mark on the dipstick.

My car seems to take more than a quart every 1000 miles
