oil change frequency
i'm doing it at 3K, but i see people doing it at 2k. is that just silly or am I waiting too long? the oil comes out cleaner than any other engine i've worked on.

Oil/Filter every 3,000 fine. I've used that schedule since purchasing '89TII in May of '89.

i do it every 2k... just every time the clock gets to an even thousands digit i change it...

There's no wrong unless you wait til the oil turns to tar.
Oil is cheap. I change it every 4,000 miles since I'm using Mobil1 synt.
