oil buzzer

So my oil sensor went bad. It's always buzzing. Bought a new one. Dumb question but where is it located so I can replace it?

If you are talking about the oil level sensor it is screwed into the side of the oil pan. It has red/Blue wire to it.

I'll bet you that the wire on the top Sensor on the Rad is busted.
(low level coolant sensor).
The oil level sensor and coolant level sensor make the same noise when there is an issue.

Dumb question, how do you know it's bad if you don't even know where it is?

this is what I like to call a "parts changer" just throw parts at it and hope it fixes it instead of actually finding out what is wrong

I agree with styx though, but, granted the buzzer is the same, but the light on the idiot cluster "should" like up being it was either oil or coolant.....that is "should"

yeah i found it, havent quite gotten the time to replace it.

symptoms are:

turn the key to I the oil buzzer sometimes goes off (as well as the oil level light)
turn the key to II oil buzzer goes off indefinitely as well as the oil level light

warm up for 3-5 minutes then the oil buzzer + light goes away and never comes back on.

car has plenty of oil, i went down there and noticed a small cut in the wire, not deep but there is copper exposed. It was probably shorting out or something?

Ill double check the rad sensor as well. going to be replacing the oil level one tomorrow

I'd check your coolant level also. Maybe bleed it too.
If either switch was bad it most likely would not shut off by its self buzzer would just stay on.
