Have you tried to do a lenghty flush with brake fluid? Never heard of such before but I think I'd try to flush with a couple of quarts of brake fluid, but I sense that things are already ruined. Is that correct?

Why isn't the person that did it going to pay for it? I don't think you need new calipers. At worst you could rebuild them and clean them really well. I would try flushing the system really well first though.

Good luck,
Mike

new (rebuilt) calipers for my vert cost me 30 dollars a piece. they are 4 piston like the turbo.

why would someone put oil in your braking system?? that sounds verrrrrry weird.

you will probably have to change the master clyinder, calipiers, and all ruber lines. you will also have to clean the hell out of the metal lines.

If it were me, I'd:

- replace or rebuild the master cylinder
- Flush 3-4 pints of fluid thru the system, all calipers.
- Pull the calipers and rebuild them with new seals.

If you're at all technically inclined, it's maybe 100$ worth of fluid, seals and MC. There's nothing special about the calipers, once you change the seals and flush them real good with clean fluid, you'll be fine.

As to the ******* who put oil in the brakes.... :\

I think I could have fun with a Focus, especially if it was a rental.
