oh the pain of wipers

The wipers were on as i made a fast right hand turn (not sure if that has anything to do with it.) they fell back down fast. they didn't pop back up. when you turn them on you can hear the moter go back on forth but the wipers don't move. when you trun it off it beeps. so any help would be appreciated.

Not sure about the beep but...it sounds to me like the wiper linkage either broke or popped loose. You have to take the wipers and the black trim piece off to get to it. Even after that it's kind of a PITA to work on. The linkage connects to the motor with a ball and socket joint. You can pop the plastic socket off of the ball end with the right amount of force, take the nuts off of the studs where the wiper arms connect and pull the whole thing out through the access hole on the passenger side. Check the plastic joint in the middle of the linkage (this is where mine broke).
