well I had my header installed by a shop today and now I am friggen going to kill someone.
when I first started the car up it sounded fine. now it seems that when I drive around my car will not quit making grinding noises
it only happens when I engage the clutch. if I am doing 55 and push in the clutch is stops making all noise what so ever. also my car is making a louder vibrate noise(loose dash). when I **** gears it sounds hollow. I know it is normal for it to click in gear but it just sounds like a hollow noise. he could not have dumped my tranny fluid could he? I have put on maybe 40-50 miles since I have dont this and it is still the same day. 20-25 mile round trip to work. also I notice the noise is real strong if I get near the pass side floor right next to the tranny area
my car was a idle at 1000 now I can not get it to go under 1500k.
does he have to take the manifold off to do the header install? is there a poss he gave me a intake leak somewere?
this car run running a lot better before he touched it

i had a simmilar prob with my 86. it was the pilot bearing going out. it might have happened just as someone worked on it, who knows. the thing about the pilot bearing is this: the tranny has to come out to fix it, and you need a special adapter for a slap hammer to get it out, or you can spend 5 hours with a chisel and hammer like i did. i cant say for sure that is your particular prob tho.
