ok so this morning i go out to my 7 and i start my starting ritual. i turn the key and let it try and turn over and do it again thyen once its wamed up i give it a lil gas and it starts. ive been doing it this way for months now. but this time after i let it crank for a few seconds.......it stops and nothing. when i turn the key, it makes a clunking click, its not rapid, it does once whn i turn the key, it also does it when i turn it to acc. my stero dosnt come on but my dome light does. i dont have another set of ears right now, but the noise seems to be coming from the drivers side top corner. please all help is definately welcome.

 

First things first, have you tried jumping it? A low battery can cause weird things sometimes.

 

Yeah jump start it or charge the battery

 

Main relay? if not dead battery

 

ok i jumped it, the battery was dead. im still worried tho because i got a brand new battery like a month and a half ago. any ideas?

 

your alternator might be going out then.. it might not bee charging the battery...
