Offset Problem!

Hi. Iam about to purchase a set of 17 inch rims.
But the offset of the set of rims are 43+..
And the Rx7 offset is only 35+.
What would happened if install them?? Would I have problems on tire wear??

Any suggestions on fixing this offset problem?

what are the rim widths? the offset is probably fine. that effects how far out the wheels stick or how close they are to your shocks

Well they are 17 inch TE37 bronze.
but I have no idea what the wheel length is.
I put one of them on today and it fits perfect.
The size and shape of them are simalar to my stock mags. so I think there shouldn't be a problem.

I was wondering what excately does the offset mean?

Wheel offset is the lateral distance from a wheel's center plane to its monuting hub.

It's only 3 mm from stock. That's about 1/8 inch. If there's a problem, it'll be rubbing the springs with the inside of the tire.

if its too close to your springs, go to Optauto.com and get a set of 5mm spacer plates.
