when i bought my 87 N/A rx7 there was a on off switch to one of the relays i looked at the FSM but im not sure what relay i think theres 5 of them right next to the hood lacth
Dimmer relay
Headlight relay
Cooling fan relay
Lock up relay
4 A/T relay
how would i find out whitch one it is

 

Match up the colours of the wires. Look in the FSM wiring diagrams at each of those systems until you find the relay with matching wires.

Assuming that it's an added switch that is not factory installed, have someone toggle the switch while you place your hand one the relays and feel which one clicks. A more precise method would be to toggle the switch and probe the relays with a VOM.

The above left me thinking the switch is no more and there is no way to figure out what it was powering.........because it does not exist anymore.
