Off-center front license plate?

i'm an ohioan too. i don't have a front plate on my RX-7 or my Z34. been driving one or the other for about 2 years without even a warning.

I wouldnt mind putting a front plate on if i could cut it and have only the numbers there with rounded corners. Are you allowed to do this in california (since the registration tag is for the BACK plate, not the front). I thought the only thing that matters is that your numbers are showing for the traffic cameras and such...

Well my buddies GXL has the brackets on...but not the plate and he hasn't gotta any trouble about it for the almost a year that hes had that car here in Illinois

Hey fingers, i have the same problem. My car apparently didn't have a frount mount bracket thing for the plate when i got it. I didn't even notice until i tried to put my plates on. I plan on rigging up some kind of bracket thing that screws or clips on from the air dam...or something.

haha wankels if you look at my avatar pic, you'll see the brackets that are on the car when I bought it... they were custom made... just a sec... i think i have a better pic...

I bought my car from michigan so no front plate

In the 2 years of owning the car, I never once got questioned or pulled over for that reason. I did get pulled over several times and they never questioned it. Even if you do get ticketed, I think its worth the $50 ticket or whatever it is
