OEM US vs OEM JDM vs Ganador
I would like to hear your thoughts on these mirrors. For some reason, I seem to go through a set of the OEM US mirrors every 5-6 years. They keep braking on me; I've never seen this, but it seems like every time another car\door hits the mirror, the crack or fall apart
Are the OEM JDM any better? I mean, they are supposed to fold... I also heard that the OEM JDM have a larger mirror, and that they have a convex shape.
And then there are the Ganador mirrors, for the price of the OEM US, I can just buy a set of the Ganador; which are also foldable.
Basically, I'm looking for infro, from those that have used any of those mirrors.

Yes, they're foldable, larger and convex, so IMO they are better. They certainly do their job better. They give a huge field of view and completely eliminate blind spots. Note that the only fold backwards though. Knock them forwards and they'll break just like fixed mirrors...

Do they crack\break over time? The US ones seem to get brittle, and fracture "easily"

Man, I dunno what you're doing to break the stock mirrors - are you breaking the plastic housings or cracking the glass?
I've never had a problem with my original stock mirrors except for fading paint and running into things accidently.
I could never figure out why those Ganador mirrors were so expensive!
I see them regularly on YJA for over US$300.
It's because they are made from cast aluminum.
I think there's a thread from an FD owner who has a set somewhere on this forum...
I'm running a pair of Aero Palace ones right now.
Fitment isn't perfect, but the polyurethane(?) body makes it pretty resistant to damage.
Maybe this would be a better option?
Only thing bad about these "JDM" mirrors is that they don't align nicely for us LHD owners.

I have lost two mirrors by this unfortunate event
So I bought a used set, and disasemble the mirrors for the paint process, guess what? The interiors were shot, I had to epoxy the places were the internal bolts attach to, and once I painted them, one of the mirros broke in a corner (must have hit something during the paint process ).
I got a quote from an Aussie Mazda dealer, they want $800 for a new set of OEM JDM mirrors.
For the price of the Gnador mirrors, I can get a brand new set of painted US OEM mirrors; and still have somre left over money in my pocket.

I have all the above mirrors that you mentioned. The quality of the Ganador that I have is superb. I have the full carbon electric version . Even the mounting part on the door is made of carbon. I put them on my RHD TII to replace the OEM folding mirrors. They mounted in the stock position and I did not even use the screws that came with the mirrors. I used the factory ones. The fit was excellent! The electric motor in them is powerful and they even write FC3S inside them. I have seen a lot of mirrors for the FC3S and this is one of the best. The downside is that they are more than $500 a pair. The regular ganadors are around $350.

Cool, so basically US is the only place without the foldable ones?
