Okay, I have got this odd problem and has just started.

the car seems to miss a little at idle. which is okay.

the real problem is when I rev the car up to any rpm, say 2000 and hold the pedal , the car will surge and drop surge and drop. I can not make it stop doing this.

what would cause this surging. how would I fix it.

 

I am willing to bet you have a vacuum leak .. I would check that thoroughly first.

 

Or your plugs are fouled. some kind of ignition issue. have you donr a good tune up lateley?

I clean the plugs every month or so, and they appear fine.


This TPS thing, it just decides to go and thats it?

I can get the car to idle, but then it slowly dies and stalls out.

It seems to get a little better after it has warmed up.

Drives like ****, when its not warm.

You give it gas and it revs, but doesn't really move like it should.

 

i have the same problem before too
i putted some fuel injector cleaner into the tank.
now my car runs ok again.

but i still have to let to car warm up first before i drive
or else it will still run like ****.

 

yes that sounds like a tps issue. if you haven't recently done any intake work i wouldn't think it's vaccume related although it could be. test the tps and if it tests ok then adjust.

 

can you get a new TPS?
i think they are very expensive...

i woiuld put new ign. wires on it first, those can big a big diference
