odd problem after installing new injectors
Just finished installing low Independence injectors on my 88 turbo rx7. Now when i start the car it will run on both rotors for about 15 seconds and then the rear rotor will stop running. I have check all the injectors at the ecu and they are all getting 12v. Another weird thing is that when the car is reved above 3800 it will run on both rotors. Any input will greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Josh

Well the secondary injectors don't even activate until you reach ~3400rpm so you have something else going wrong. How do you know it is running on one rotor? If the car was running fine before the injector install then you f'd something up when you were putting stuff back together. Also if you have an '88 you don't have a resistor pack and you would need to run resistors for the low imp secondaries to work.

i installed 10 ohm 10 watt resistors on all injectors. the car did run prior. using my sensitive touch (lol) when feeling the spark plugs the front rotor is hot and the rear is luke warm.
oops forgot to mention both primary and secondary injectors are now low Independence.

Did you have the injectors cleaned prior to installing them? I would double, and triple check that you wired your resistors to the correct wires. When deciding pin # on the plug you need to look at the side the wires are coming out of not the flat front of the plug. Other than that I would say put the other injectors back in and test to see if maybe somehow you have some screwed injectors or something.

the primary injectors were remanufactured rc's.
I did a little more screwing around today and when I adjust my safc neo to about half rich in the lower rpm, the car will run on both rotors. So I took it for a drive with a buddy watching my wideband, and the car seemed to run fine. Once home I removed the traling plugs and the front one looked considerably darker. Really confusing because both the primary's are PL8 - 550's.
If anyone could shed some light on this matter I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Josh

I think I may have found my problem, Just installed my stock primaries back in and it runs perfect. Guess the reman RC's are the flaw.
Thanks a bunch for all the help
