i heard it was better to run lower octane in a rotary engine that higher cuz lower octane burns faster. is this true?

In an NA you want the lowest octane you can get. In a turbo you want premium.

n/a run the lowest witch is 87 i think

turbos run the next up. 93 i think?

lol i just go by reg, super reg, and prem. but you get the point.

turbos you basically want the highest you can get, which is premium. That is either 93 or 91 depending on where you are.
