467.5 Rwhp

Finally got to the dyno. There's more power left, but I need to swap a few things first.

Same info as in the single turbo post:

I finally got my car on the Dyno this weekend with Steve Kan doing some tunning for the Phoenix Rx7 group. I loaded my car up and headed to Phoenix for a day of tunning.

I asked for a conservative tune being that this car is street driven with occasional track use, so we aimed for a 10.8 AFR across the board and which we got.

We hit 467.5 at 19psi with a 50/50 mixture of 91 and 101 octane gas. That was around 7000 RPM but we lost the tack signal on that run so we missed out on the RPM and torque measurements. The next run at 20 psi we saw 466 HP at around 6k and then Steve let off sensing a slight ignition breakup. This was on BUR9's all the way around.

On pure 91 ocatane we saw421.8HP @ 7100RPM 15-16psi with 322 torque and so this will be my "street trim".

I have an aquamist setup with was not functioning so that'll be turned on, and I'll be modifying my ignition, adding another fuel pump and modifying my turbine houseing/DPsetup and a few other things.

I'll try to get the graphs posted but they are really light and my camera isn't picking them up, so I'll have to find a scanner.

MODS:

Yo,

Yeah, so it's almost 3.5 times more power than I put down.

Big deal!!

*snicker*

That's awesome man. Sorry Node was there to spoil it. Did he have his Yellow Zonker FB?

Kidding!

Keep up the good work, you've definitely earned a spot with the turbo FC Greats: 1FastT2, CYMFC3S, and Blue TII. Well, at least that's my A list of TII's.

*grin* I need to see more pics of your engine bay. If it's clean, you can get on the Big List. I remember your car though, with the powdercoated FD wheels and A032R's. It's nice!!

Are you still wingless?

The fan and shroud came from Vintagair.com.

Thanks for the compliments. I am overall very pleased with the results. I think there is more left in it at the lower boost levels, but I need to modify a few things... which realistically isn't going to happen for some time. I'll keep it as is for a while. I think 500 is certainly achievable witha few other "tweaks".

It is nice to realize the fruits of my labor!!!
