O2 Wire into CPU?

O2 Wire into CPU?
What color is this wire on an 87 TII?
The Hayes manual says its Gy, which is green w/ yellow stripe. But I hooked up my AFG to that wire and now the gauge goes crazy when I turn on the Left Blinker! It looks cool, but doesnt help me with my AF Mixture much.
I realize that many if you arent keen on the AFG but I'd appreciate helpful replies ONLY. I already have the gauge and just want it to work properly.
Thanks

By the CPU, next to the fuse box.
Is that where you hooked it up?
A green wire huh? How did you know that was the right wire? The manual said green with yellow stripe.

See, I hooked it up to Gy, and it doesnt work, its some how reading my Left Blinker signal.

I will try finding 2D directly instead of a wire color. Thanks, hope you feel better!

The CPU does turn signals and the ECU does fuel control.

Maybe thats where my problem lies...

I suppose that would be the most direct route!! HA
I was already tearin into the fuse box to add a slot for the gauge lights. (I hooked up 3 new gauges.) So that's why I tried to find the wire inside the car.
Plus it keeps the engine bay a little neater. If all else fails I may go for the wire off the o2 sensor, but I'd really like to get it done inside.
Thanks

Your at the wrong side of the car there homie. You need to be over on the passenger side at the ECU. Take the door sill out and pull the carpet back. Then take the metal cover off and you will see the ECU. It should work fine after that.

I've attached an image showing the common pins on the ECU. This image is not mine, it's been posted to the forum before.

I've been advised to look over on the passenger side for the ECU.
